Getting My Name Out There

We all want to be known. That's the beauty of the internet: we can all be stars in our own way. We won't necessarily be rich and famous, but, at the very least, we can feel appreciated by having people follow us and look forward to or next post or update.

I'm not looking to be famous. I'm just looking for an avenue to get my name and work out there. I plan on using this blog as an art dump. It will be a place where I can send prospective employers to look through what I can do. It's better than sending them to my, for a lack of a better word, website. Calling www.asanberg.com a website is laughable. It's something I whipped up in a week with Dreamweaver and no formal web design training. I do intent to improve it in the future once I learn the basic skill set of web design, but, until then, this will have to do. If I get a few fans that look forward to seeing my posts, well, that's good too.

What you can expect to see here are a few drawings, some 3D art work, and whatever may come from my creative urges. Hopefully you'll like what you see. Hopefully this will motivate me to create more (I've, admittedly, been slacking on this). Once I dust off the old sketch book, open up some programs, and read up on some tutorials, I feel as though the motivation will follow. This is step one, because what good is art if you can't have people admire it, or, hopefully, give me constructive feedback?
